Playa Hermosa, GuanacasteCosta Rica, Local Expats Help Children
I am a firm believe that it is very important
to help out our local communities. Living in this paradise of Costa Rica there
are still those that can use our help. I am thankful for being able to afford the
opportunity to assist in what every way possible and give back to the special
people that have welcomed me with open arms and warm hearts.
One of our local ex-pat residents from the US
has started a program a couple of years ago to help the local children in need
with a great opportunity to go to school. Here in Costa Rica the public schools are free
to all the children. One of the requirements is that the students have to have
the proper uniform to attend and some basic school supplies. Well there are
many families that just cannot afford the cost for the uniforms and the
supplies to for their children to attend school.
The program is well worth the small donation.
100% of the funds raised go directly to the children. This program will help
these unfortunate children get a new backpack, books, pencils, SHOES, and a new
uniform of slacks and shirts and the opportunity to attend school and broaden
their opportunities for the future. All these basic items, to send a bright
mind to school is only $60.00 per child. The future of our children in this world lie
in the present and with your help we can ensure that every child has the
opportunity to go to school
